Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Haridwar → Sitapur (Gaurikund)

Your spiritual journey begins with an early morning departure from Haridwar. Visit the holy Har ki Pauri ghat before embarking on a scenic drive through the mountains.

Route Highlights: En route, witness the divine confluence at Devprayag (where Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the Ganges) and Rudraprayag (confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini). Also visit the ancient Hari Devi Temple.

Distance: ~236 km | Travel Time: ~8-9 hours

Overnight Stay: Cottage/Hotel in Sitapur (Gaurikund)

Day 2 Sitapur → Kedarnath Dham

After an early breakfast, drive to Gaurikund (named after Goddess Parvati). From here begins the sacred 16-18 km trek to Kedarnath.

Trek Options: You can trek on foot, hire a pony/doli/palanquin, or opt for helicopter services (at additional cost).

En Route: Pass through Rambara, a scenic stop along the way. The trek offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys.

Upon reaching Kedarnath, check into your accommodation. In the evening, attend the divine Aarti at the temple and visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple.

Overnight Stay: Tent/Guest House at Kedarnath

Day 3 Kedarnath → Sitapur (Gaurikund)

Wake up early for the morning Darshan at Kedarnath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and holds immense spiritual significance.

Visit Bhairav Temple (it is believed that Lord Bhairav protects Kedarnath during winter) and Retas Kund (a sacred water body).

After breakfast (on your own), trek back to Gaurikund. Your driver will be waiting to transfer you to Sitapur for overnight stay.

Overnight Stay: Cottage/Hotel in Sitapur

Day 4 Sitapur → Tungnath → Pipalkoti

After breakfast, drive towards Pipalkoti via the beautiful Chopta Valley (also known as "Mini Switzerland of India").

Special Visit: If time permits, trek to Tungnath Temple (3.5 km from Chopta) - the world's highest Shiva temple at 3,680 meters. The temple is part of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage.

Continue your journey to Pipalkoti, a serene town on the banks of Alaknanda river. Check into your hotel and relax.

Distance: ~148 km | Travel Time: ~6-7 hours

Day 5 Pipalkoti → Badrinath → Pipalkoti

Early morning drive to Badrinath, one of the Char Dhams and 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Take a holy dip in Tapt Kund (natural hot water spring, also called Suryakund) before proceeding for Darshan at the Badrinath Temple.

Sightseeing: Visit Mana Village (the last Indian village before the Tibet border), Vyas Gufa (cave where Ved Vyasa composed Mahabharata), Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul (a natural rock bridge), and the source of the Saraswati River.

After sightseeing, return to Pipalkoti for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 Pipalkoti → Haridwar (Departure)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Haridwar.

Enjoy the scenic drive one last time as you descend from the mountains. Arrive in Haridwar by evening.

Tour Ends with beautiful memories and divine blessings!

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy

  • 25% advance payment required at the time of booking
  • Balance payment to be made 7 days before departure
  • Booking confirmation subject to availability
  • All payments are non-refundable but transferable to another person

Cancellation Policy

  • 30+ days before travel: 75% refund
  • 15-30 days before travel: 50% refund
  • 7-14 days before travel: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days: No refund
  • Cancellations due to natural calamities will be handled case by case

Important Notes

  • Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM
  • Kedarnath Temple opens from late April/early May to November (subject to weather)
  • Physical fitness is required for Kedarnath trek
  • Carry valid ID proof (Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Passport)
  • Weather conditions can affect the itinerary
  • Warm clothing is essential even in summer months
